Amongst one of the oldest iron-hulled narrowboats still afloat. Originally built as a horse-drawn ice-breaking boat it has the typical rounded hull made from riveted iron plates and with over-sized stem post. In 2017 the hull was over-plated in 4mm steel and re-blacked. 6mm base plate.  4 new anodes 2017. Last surveyed in 2017. 15gal s/steel water tank, 40gal fuel tank. Cruiser– style stern has timber-topped taff rail. Boxed roof light. Steel tool rack. Brass mushroom vent. Etched glass portholes. Livery (repainted 2016) :- 
Admiralty grey roof & sides, black panels, cream lines.

 BERTHS: One. Conversion single aft.

Head-room c. 6ft 3ins max. Insulated upper sides & deck-head lined with untreated light oak ply panels + medium oak trims. Lower sides are the exposed, unlined riveted iron hull. Timber plank flooring. 


Foredeck with decorative wrought iron hand rails. No well-deck. Unglazed bulkheads & timber lined, unglazed, short doors to cabin.


Full-width doors, with “leaded” style lights to upper parts, from aft deck into cabin. Long, c.7ft banquette usable as single bunk. Solid timber worktop with granolithic stone splash-back & grey resin circular sink & drainer, open storage under. “Villager” solid-fuel stove on large raised plinth.

ENGINE ROOM & ELECTRICS: Under aft deck. Single cylinder Lister c. 23HP diesel engine. Separate throttle & gear levers. Single alternator. 600W inverter. Batteries: 1 starter, 1 domestic. Galvanic isolator.

OTHER EQUIPMENT Thetford “Porta Potti” cassette toilet. Fire extinguisher. Mooring equipment.
