We left Atherstone at about 5.00am and travelled most of the way back to Braunston in good weather. The fleet gathered at Hawkesbury Junction around 9.00am. Unfortunately it began to rain as we reached Braunston and we did the locks in the rain, after which the tunnel was a welcome relief.
